Alchemized Art was born from our passion for creating interactive art experiences. Our ultimate goal is to realize Quintessence, an art installation comprised of four elemental gates and a Middle Pillar destined for Black Rock City. We’ve completed our first step with the South Gate, thanks to an art grant from Love Burn and the generosity of our supporters.

The South Gate is elemental fire gate in the form of a ‘lava and obsidian’ portal (fabricated largely from salvaged scrap material) that made its inital debut at Love Burn in Miami, Florida, in February 2025. Visitors were invited to write down an intention, recite a blessing, and could then step through the gate where on the other side they could ignite their intentions in fire and join their other Burners in the Kairos Convergence.

The Kairos Convergence, (from the ancient Greek (καιρός), meaning a propitious moment for decision or action), served as our nightly gathering at the Burn where we lit a fire and stood witness to those with an intention to focus on the future.
