The Eleventh Hour

This weekend was a whirlwind of activity as we put the finishing touches on the South Gate. The lava detailing on the base took all of last week, and we were so excited to finally assemble the entire structure outside on Sunday in preparation for adding our final details. But Mother Nature had other plans! Rain poured down, cutting our detailing time short and forcing us to take everything apart and move it inside to the garage and carport. A big thank you to our friends Liz and Jarrett who pitched in for the final push.

It was a long, tiring weekend, followed by a mad dash of packing on Monday. But the good news is, the gate is now headed to Miami with Rassera and Jarrett. Sarai, sadly, couldn't make the trip due to an unavoidable work commitment, but will be joining the event on Friday morning.
